Ideal for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or just simply to say “I love you”, this unique, hand made card has been created using the techniques of linocut printing and collage.

The design features a cheeky pair of wren silhouettes, lino printed onto a digital background of frosted foliage in soft pinks. Above the wrens, a metallic coral coloured heart shape is collaged on to complete the design. The inside of the card is blank, for your own special message.

The smooth white, 280gsm card is a generous A5 (148mm x 210mm) size and is supplied with a 100 gsm white envelope.

This item will be shipped to you by Royal Mail 1st class, in a board backed envelope, between 2 further pieces of stiff board, to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

Inspired by a previous experiment which resulted in my print "Wren in the Forest", I wanted to work with a combination of lino printing onto a digital print. The background for "You and Me" is derived from a photograph I took on a particularly beautiful, frosty dog walk! I then manipulated it and the result was a sugar-ice image of frosty pinks, the perfect backdrop for a Love theme. The wren is a long-standing favourite of mine, it's cheekiness accentuated by it's tiny, diminutive size :-)
