Design NO.7 Blue Wave

Hand dyed and digitally printed design 100% cotton scarf

46 cm wide by 165 cm in length

Machined rolled edge in blue cotton thread.

This scarf has a loose abstract brush stroke design giving a fine art painterly effect. Full of different tones of blue with hints of maroon and a vibrant yellow, it makes a great addition to any outfit.

This scarf has been hand dyed using a low water immersion technique which creates a mottled, subtle uneven effect when dyeing fabric, giving a textural pattern. The fabric has also been digitally printed with my abstract brush stroke design.

Due to my process of printing and dying no 2 scarves are the same so you are getting a truly unique item.

This scarf is a great length to tie in lots of different ways.

The cotton will continue to soften with use.

This design has evolved over time starting life as a drawing of some chains washed up on the beach it then abstracted further into the waves crashing on the sea shore. I wanted to capture the movement of the sea with this design.
