Whilst holidaying in Kent I was browsing through an antique shop when I stumbled across some old sewing machines. I have made items from Singer machines before but for some reason this Naumann machine was speaking to me! I decided to go for a coffee and to search online for more information on this brand before making any rash decisions. However en route to the cafe I popped into a thrift shop and lo and behold there was a vintage lampshade which would compliment the gold patterns on the side of the Naumann. It was destiny....
Returning home and creating the lamp, it turned out better than I could have possibly hoped.
