This is a print of my original watercolour painting of a pretty tabby cat watching the butterflies flutter by. I painted the original work in a free, loose style to keep the colour fresh and vibrant.

Colours include deep inky blues, splashes of turquoise and lilac with dusky pinks and soft yellows. i painted the work in the summer and I hope I've captured that warm, happy feeling.

Inspired by my own kitties, although this one doesn't try to eat the butterflies! :)

The print is a high quality reproduction of my original work, brush strokes and watercolour effects are clearly visible as are my original stitches. Printed onto a heavy weight, textured watercolour paper the print closely resembles the original piece. Printed with genuine Epson Ultra Chrome pigment inks for longevity and fade resistance.
