When I started designing for fabrics I was a little obsessed with check patterns and creating my own. As I was living in Scotland at the time I was surrounded by amazing Tartans so didn’t have to look far for inspiration. I wanted to create a lighter feminine feel with this check design but still paying homage to great Tartans!
