This hand bag has been hand felted using natural grey jacob wool. Stabilised and slightly stiffened with interfacing the felt has been sewn up into a stunning flat based handbag which has been lined with a cream coloured cotton calico fabric and fastens with a magnetic clasp. The bag is embellished with a felted flower which is attached using a brooch pin allowing it to be removed and used as a brooch or embellishment on its own if desired. The bag stands approximately 22cm high. The top edge measures approximately 30cm wide and tapers to approximately 20cm at the base. The flat base measures approximately 20cm x 10cm and has been stiffened to help the bag maintain its shape. Handles in matching felt have been attached. A small D ring has been sewn to the inside allowing attachment of bag charms and accessories if desired.
The removable flower measures approximately 11cm in diameter. Flowers of various colours are available as shown in the final photograph, unless otherwise specified the bag will be sent with the yellow flower. Please message me at the time of order for an alternative preference. Only one flower will be supplied, other flowers/bag charms are available separately in my shop.
