From little acorns do mighty oak light pulls grow…! Light pull turned from English oak, enhanced with a burnt band and texturing to resemble an acorn. The light pull measures 61mm long and 33mm in diameter at its widest point. The light pull, which could also be used for a window blind, is designed so that the cord can be threaded through the 3mm hole and knotted, with the knot being concealed by the recess in the bottom. The light pull has been finished with two coats of clear lacquer.
I first noticed light pulls on a visit to Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh some years ago and have been making them for some time now. The Royal Mail parcel post tariff which this item requires (because they are too fat for large letter rate) might, at £2.90, seem expensive. However, I HAVE SET MY P&P FOR ADDITIONAL ITEMS AT ONLY 0.75 so this would make it ideal to order as a second item.
