This canvas features a printed artwork that was reproduced from the original which was created in watercolours, marker pens and digital art. The lady in the artwork is relaxing in water, maybe in the sea, or maybe in the bath, finding calm and enjoying time to herself to rejuvenate, and maybe imaging herself amongst butterflyfish. A repeating series of ethereal women, with brightly coloured hair pass, through the picture.

The bright colourful canvas measures 19.5cm square x 3.5cm deep. The canvas is ready to hang with a sawtooth fitting which can be used with just a nail. Canvas stretchers accompany the artwork for use if required over the course of time.

I find that when submerged in water, be it the sea or a hot bath, there is a sense of calm, and deeper relaxation is possible. The woman may be in the sea or she maybe at home in the tub, so the fish and butterflies in her hair may be real or could be figments of her relaxation imagination.

The woman's hair is brightly coloured, an aspect often featuring in my work as the women are authentic and being their true colourful selves. Whether relaxing, or whether moving through life, symbolised by the series of turquoise clad women, the woman is calm and safe going forwards.

The fish were painted in watercolours on the beach in Egypt after seeing them whilst snorkelling by the fascinating and delightful red sea reefs. The artwork was created in marker pens, and the fish added whilst painting digitally.
