This is an unusual shaped pendant of druzy. Very much in crystal form this druzy has an amazing pink finish.
The pendant is oval shaped with a smooth back. I have encased the druzy in a band of gold plate and hung it on an 18” (46cm) gold plate snake chain.
The pendant is delicate with a width of approximately 1cm and a length 2cm.
The pendant will arrive to you in a presentation box.
Please be aware, colour settings between different computers may vary. This is a natural stone that has been polished, please look carefully on the photographs for imperfections such as nicks, chips or scratches.
Drusy, druse, druzy, drusies - different spellings, but they all mean tiny quartz crystals that form within or on the surface of other stones. When ground water carrying dissolved silica is forced into a porous area of the rock, rapid cooling often occurs, causing the formation of tiny crystals on the surfaces or in cavities of the rock. The clear crystals often form on top of previously deposited minerals. This is called a druzy.
When your purchase of Druzy states ‘Titanium Druzy’ this is still an agate druzy that has been coated with titanium in a vacuum chamber. It produces a permanent metal coating in spectacular shades of bright, dark blue, petrol, rainbow or iridescent white.
