A dog lead for a medium to large sized dog (spaniel/beagle upwards) made from undyed natural 100% cotton rope. Hand spliced with a stainless steel O ring, this lead will give you many years of service. This is a slip lead (gundog style lead) so the lead simply slips over the head of the dog and doesn't have to be attached to the collar making fitting and removal fast, simple and comfortable for both the dog and the owner..

I've always used slip leads for my dogs. They are so easy to slip on and off and are really comfortable for both the dog and the owner to wear and use. This lead is 100% natural, undyed, cotton rope and so is entirely biodegradable. Handmade, the stainless steel hard wearing O ring is tied into a crown knot then backspliced. The hand loop is similarly spliced with an eye splice to provide a comfortable loop to hold the lead with. The ends of the rope where they emerge from the splice should be left shaggy as this allows the splice some movement and friction to hold together.
