Design NO.28 Red Moss

Hand dyed and digitally printed reds, greens and blues 100% cotton scarf

46 cm wide by 165 cm in length

Machined rolled edge in cotton thread.

This design has been hand dyed using a low water immersion technique which creates the mottled, subtle uneven effect on the fabric where the various reds and greens blur together. The fabric has also been digitally printed with some moss like textures.

Due to my process of printing and dying no 2 scarves are the same so you are getting a truely unique item.

This scarf is a great length to tie in lots of different ways.

I live in a fairly urban area so you often forget how close you can still be to nature living in the city. I often take walks around my home, by the canals and rivers finding little pockets of green which can be full of inspiration. This design came from a photograph I took of some abandoned red pipes in a little field which had become over grown with moss, giving me the idea for the blurring colours.
