Tagua Nuts come from a palm tree in South America. Around 35,000 indigenous people are currently employed in harvesting, drying, slicing, polishing and dying the nuts which means that less rainforest is being cut down to make room for farmland to eat from.
Tagua nut are also known as vegetable ivory as they are replacing animal tusks in the fashion and other industries.
Sterling silver is used to make the bail and spiral and a sterling silver curb chain is included.
All our jewellery is sent in a gift box.
