With my interest and love of fabric I wanted to create an image that focused on the texture and structure of fabric itself through soft ground etching.
A series of experimental works allowed me to evaluate variations on the detail. The final plate has spent a considerable amount of time in acid and the result is a deep bite and deliberate application of the loss of a straight defined edge.
