I had until this point been largely basing designs around floral motifs. I wanted to do something that was a bit more geometric. I made the simple Hexagon design completely by accident and liked it! They are individually made, then sewn together using a top stitch that adds to the design, like a patchwork effect. Each Hexagon has a pearly bead sewn into the centre. The necklace is secured with a chain of the same yarn, with a few pearly beads attached to the ends. This gives a lovely look from the back when worn in the summer!
I specifically chose bright colours for this design as I thought it made the perfect summer accessory but I have since used my own copies to brighten up a black jumper in the winter months!
