I collect old discarded timber and with some hard work and imagination turn them into beautiful handcrafted useful strong items.
This chest is made from reclaimed pine which I have planed to bring out the grain in the wood and constructed to make a very sturdy useful item. The hinges and handles have been extracted from skips and the horseshoes have all had previous lives as being on the hooves of local ponies or horses and saved from the scrap man. I just love making these types of items
