Beautiful partridge greetings card. Blank greeting card with a traditional partridge design taken from Lotti Brown's intricate artwork 'Partridge in the Hedgerow'. Autumnal or wintery feel so it's perfect as an art greetings card for a bird-lover or an occasion card for autumn and winter birthdays, country-lovers and British bird lovers.

Blank inside for your own message.

Square card - approx 15cm square, with 15.5cm pale minty-green envelope included. Individually wrapped in cellophane wrapper.

Printed in Yorkshire on 270gsm FSC certified card. Silky finish on exterior. Inside of card matte finish for ease of writing.

I'm taking a little break from my Folksy store but I'm still about busy arting, blogging and creating if you'd like to see what I'm up to or get in touch ~ Lotti :)

I was inspired to create this artwork by the sweet little Red-Legged Partridges that I sometimes see in the fields round here. So very pretty and shy - they look so sweet scurrying away on their tiny, colourful legs.

I create the artwork from my own hand-drawn ink drawings that I then scan into the computer and give the digital treatment on Adobe Illustrator. The background is created from hand-painted fabric, also worked digitally.

Lovely traditional blues and greens for a countryside feel - beautiful for autumn/winter.
