I love stones, and have several in my studio. I love the natural colours and forms that Nature has given them, but I had been thinking for ages about painting one. One day I started painting a stone when I really should have been working on bigger paintings on canvas and paper. I found it quite therapeutic and very different working on a smaller scale, and with the possibility of creating a sculpture-like 3D object. I put a picture up on Facebook and was surprised at the positive feedback. It has since sold, as did 2 more, and that was only a couple of weeks ago. So I have just been to the coast and sourced some more, and am hoping this will be a new outlet for me and a way for people who admire my art to buy it on a more restricted budget. The idea of creating functional art, or art that can be displayed around the home in ways other than hanging it on a wall, really appeals to me also.

In the hopefully unlikely event of a return, postage must be covered by the buyer and the item returned to me in the same condition it was sent out in. I cannot be held responsible for loss or damage in transit, but will keep all proof of postage labels, so that if such were to occur, I can assist with making a claim.
