A pretty light coloured cabochon with multi coloured dichroic chips in pink, blue, green and gold. On a light blue ribbon 17 inches long fastened with a gold plated toggle clasp.. The cab is 27.6 x32 mm

The cabochon in this listing has been cut from plain and dichroic glass and then fused in a kiln. Any sharp pieces are ground off and the cabs are re-fired to round off the edges. The dichroic glass changes colour in different lights.

The main characteristic of dichroic glass is that it has a transmitted colour and a completely different reflective colour. These two colours shift depending on angle of view displaying a wonderful, iridescent play of colours. The unique qualities of dichroic glass make beautiful unique jewellery. The colour changes with its environment and viewing angle.

I make every effort to present the colour of each item as accurately as possible. However, dichroic glass is difficult to photograph and the images you see depend on your monitor's display and colour capabilities. The actual colour of the product may differ slightly from the images shown.

The pendant is delivered in a pretty linen bag.
