I saw the wool in my local wool shop. The wool is so soft and 'snuggly' that I couldn't resist buying a ball or two. Then I found the sleeveless hooded Gilet pattern for babies to go with the wool. And yes, I frequently do things back to front! lol
It's not easy wool to work with as it's so fluffy but nice to the touch! The illustration on the pattern was in orange but I thought the Lemon looked a little more 'Spring-like'! The wooden buttons add that special finish.
Just after I finished the Gilet, someone saw it & asked if I could make one in an adult size. Problem is that it's baby wool & most of the patterns knitted in this yarn are just for babies!
