Incredibly soft and lightweight this nuno felted scarf has been made using natural grey merino wool fibres on a silk chiffon base. Nuno felting causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it. A striking red poppy design has been added to one side prior to felting. The reverse of the scarf is felted but left plain.
The incredibly fine layer of wool fibres results in a scarf which is very sheer and lightweight and drapes beautifully around the neck. Ideal for spring or summer wear but equally suitable for the cooler months. The scarf measures approximately 120cm x 38cm (47.2" x 15") and is supplied wrapped in pretty floral tissue paper. An upgrade to include a draft card window presentation box is available as a separate listing in my shop.
An lovely gift idea.
Hand wash in warm water. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
