My dolls are made using a sewing machine and by hand sewing.
They are forever dolls, each made with character and have individual looks; no two dolls are exactly the same. Their dresses are handmade and include pantalettes and petticoats, and they each have handmade shoes made of felt.

Dolls are approx. 16 inches tall.

The filling is an all-purpose polyester, which is flame retardant, non-toxic and non-allergenic. They are made using a Victorian rag doll pattern. Their eyes and mouth are made of felt, and I used yarn for their hair.

I can also make and sell separate dresses for the dolls if you are interested in extra clothing for them.

I wanted to enter something I made into our local County show, so I made a doll for the first time, and she was awarded first place! My friends suggested that I make more to sell, so I decided to open a Folksy.

I originally made ten dolls (including one mermaid), with not much confidence that they would sell, but all but two sold by word of mouth before I even listed them! I even sold one to the USA. The response has really surprised me and I am so happy they are this loved by everyone already.

I only have the two I am listing left to sell, but if someone is interested in a custom made one by choosing the colour of their hair, then I can make it.
