Lovely pair of ladies knitted mittens in my All at Sea pattern.

Base of palm to top of fingers is 17.5 cm (7"), and the cuff is 8 cm (3") from the base of the palm. The circumference of the hand is 17 cm (7"). Measure the top part of your hand around the knuckles.

Knitted in 75% acrylic and 25% wool these gloves are suited to a warm wash but should be dried flat.

As often happens with me, I end up designing patterns because my friends cannot find what they want or the fit is poor. I have a friend who desperately wanted a pair of gloves that actually fit him properly, preferably the flip top variety. With quite large hands he found most gloves were a bit to snug and flip tops had disappeared. He asked me if I could make him some so I figured I should design a pattern that encompasses mittens and gloves regular and flip top. My all at sea pattern is the result and I have added information so you can make simple changes that will make your gloves and mittens fit you better.
