Hi, We're Emma and Hilary, the owners of Doodle Alley paint your own pottery and canvas studio.

We met in 2014 at a local baby group and instantly bonded. After long chats over several cups of tea (and a few glasses of wine...) we decided that we no longer wanted to return to our jobs in optics and finance and wanted to take the chance to get back to our creative roots....so Doodle Alley was born!
We spend every day designing, hand painting and firing unique pottery pieces and helping others to create their own treasured pieces too. We really do believe we have the best jobs in the world and absolutely love what we do!

All our designs use non-toxic, lead free, ceramic glazes that are then fired onto the pottery in our studio kiln. This means that all the designs are permanent (no sharpies, vinyls etc.. used here!)

Although we have lots of pieces in our shop, we also do hundreds of commission pieces, so get in touch if you would like us to create your perfect gift.
