Dichroic glass is one of my favourite mediums to work with. It consist of a base coloured glass which has been coated with thin films of metallic oxides to selectively reflect and transmit wavelengths of light. The results is a glass which appears to have more than one color at the same time especially when viewed from different angles or in different lighting condition,
Each dichroic glass jewel is an original unique creation completely hand worked.
No two firings are the same, so every piece of dichroic glass jewellery is characterised by a unique colour combinations and shimmering effects.
