Item details

This is a beautiful sterling silver chainmaille bracelet made in the box weave pattern. This pattern creates a chunky square weave bracelet. It is 10 x 7 mm and is 8 inches long. The length can be shortened if required. It is made from over 180 rings. It has a sterling silver hook clasp which I have made from wire.

This bracelet weighs 45 grams and has a Birmingham Hallmark.

It is supplied in a box ready to give as a gift.

How do I determine my bracelet size?
Step 1: Measure your wrist just below the wrist bone, where one would normally wear a bracelet, with a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper.
Step 2: If you are using a plain strip of paper, then measure that paper strip with a ruler to determine your wrist size.
Step 3: Add 1/4 inch to 1 inch (average is 1/2 inch) to your wrist size, depending on whether you would like a snug, comfort, or loose fit. This is the ideal bracelet length for you.

This is my favorite weave. I wear a bracelet made with this weave a lot. It is made with thinner rings and so is a lighter weight. (28 grams) I have had it for a few years and it still looks lovely. I just clean it with soapy water to keep it as bright as when I made it. The new bracelet has just been made and will be sent for hallmarking next week.
