This necklace is made with beautiful little 3-4mm baroque freshwater pearls that have lovely lustre and iridescence with lovely peacock tones.
They have been hand wound with fine silver wire (silver that is at least 99.9% pure) to create a delicate station necklace, also known as a tin cup necklace after one worn by Rene Russo in the film Tin Cup. It is seventeen inches long and designed to sit close around the bottom of the neck. A sterling silver lobster clasp completes this piece.
Presented in a slim black gift box.
I fell in love with these pearls the moment I met them, and wanted a design that would show them off as much as possible. Station necklaces allow each pearl to stand out, and the small size of these gives a fantastic minimalist look.
