This very elegant table has actually been in my wifes family for many years, typically dark stained as so many wooden pieces of the era were. It had a place in the family home for many years, alas as time went by it fell out of favour and has been moved around from house to house and eventually found its way to us.
I decided I wanted to give it a brand new lease of life and try a particular paint technique to make it quite unique...the result is a riot of colour sitting on a base of Annie Sloan Napoleonic Blue.
