The sushi dish has been cut from a block of weathered clay (left in the garden for a couple of months by accident) using a garden spade. The slab was formed a little feet added and fired in a green transparent glaze.
The result is a thick, heavy, knarly sushi plate, which is incredibly tactile and very pleasing to look at if you like Japanese pottery.
Approx 24 cm at it's longest point.
