It is printed in a small edition of 25, although each print is unique due the the amount of ink, and handmade process, used in each print.
I found this perfectly preserved butterfly sitting an an artichoke leaf it the garden. It took me a moment or two to realise that it was no longer alive, and It was so sad to see it there. I decided to make some drawings of this exquisite and fragile creature. The print is the result so these sketches.
