I'm supporting The Brooke Charity with these customisable glass coasters - for every set sold, £7.50 will be donated to The Brooke. It's a charity close to my heart who do amazing work around the world for working horses and donkeys. If you'd like to know more about this amazing place then please have a look at their website - http://www.thebrooke.org

The sets are made from homemade horse shoe stencils and glass enamels (in this case brown, turquoise and gold). They are then fired onto a soft white glass to give a little pop to the shoes.

All four are created in my home studio and fired in my kiln. Because of the nature of fused glass each coaster can never be duplicated so you are getting a one off piece of art, as well as a lovely place to put your drink.

Each coaster is approximately 10cm x 10cm and each has four silicone bumpers on the bottom to protect your surface and make the coaster non-slip. The glass coasters can be used for both hot and cold drinks but should not be microwaved or put in the dishwasher as it will cause the bumpers to fall off or melt. Hand wash only or run a wet cloth over them to keep them clean.

Initially inspired by The Brooke's campaign of get crafty - I love making these coasters that I'm continuing to stock them (with permission from The Brooke) for as long as people would like to buy them!
