It's been a long time I really wanted to try silver, so here it is. I made this piece the same way I make my copper pieces but as I really wanted to set the rubies, it just had to be silver sheet, wire and chain. The shield is made out of silver sheet I cut out and then set the cabochon by weaving silver wire to set it, suspended on a partly handcrafted chain with small rubies and 2 more in the clasp, just to make it extra special. This is my first piece with silver sheet and it has a special place in my heart. I would like to believe its wearer will have the pleasure to wear it daytime or with evening outfit, as I think it is suitable for any occasion, even at work, if you were a suit or a nice dress, you will certainly be the talk of the office!! I hope you will enjoy wearing it as much as I enjoyed making it.
