The Old Lighthouse at Flamborough Head, East Riding of Yorkshire, was built in 1674. This chalk structure is the thought to be the earliest known lighthouse still in existance in England.
This is the second in an edition of 10 linocut prints which I have created using the reduction linocut process. I pressed the print entirely by hand using the back of a spoon.
It is printed in Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Linoprint Ink (Water Based) on Fabriano Artist's Paper 160gm.
The print measures approx 4 x 6 inches and the paper size is hand cut to approx 6 x 8.4 in.
It is signed and titled at the bottom of the print in pencil.
The print will come unframed and unmounted.
I will mail it out to you in a cellophane packet and wrapped in tissue paper. I will supply a small signed Certificate of Authenticity with the print.
I will post it out to you in a board backed envelope and I will send it 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas.
If you would like a special delivery service, for instance guaranteed delivery by a certain time, or if you would like me to send your item tracked and signed for, please send me a message and I will get a quote for you for the extra postage cost.
Thank you for looking at my artwork.

The splendid isolation of a lighthouse (at least in my imagination).
