Handmade, chunky , contempoary sterling silver bead made from sterling silver metalclay , or PMC , a combination of microscopic silver particles and a nontoxic binder ,which is decorated , then fired , to burn away the binder and fuse the particles into a solid silver bead . The bead can be strung onto a silver chain or it would also look good on leather , braided leather or similar .

I make the beads from sterling silver PMC , which is a clay like substance . The beads are decorated before being fired ,and so each one is unique. After being fired , the solid silver beads are burnished to makes them shiney .
