Looking for something for that hard to buy for person? Try this whimsical bird ornament. It would look equally nice indoors, outdoors or in a conservatory or balcony! A great gift for a gardener or garden lover or would make an unusual housewarming gift.

It is made from weatherproof materials including frost resistant mosaic tiles, painted with exterior paint on the back and grouted on the edges and front. The bird hangs from a waxed cotton cord which is long enough to be able to vary the length. I have a walled garden so mine hangs from a screw on my brick wall. When the light catches it, it gleams and shines because I've used a mix of iridescent tiles.

MEASUREMENTS
From the top of the curly copper feathers on top to the tip of the knobbly knee legs, the bird measures about 19.5 cm / 7 1/2 inches. the body is about 8.9 cm / 3 1/2 inches top to bottom and about 16.5 cm / 6 1/2 inches long.

Each of my little birds varies slightly as I cut them by hand and mosaic them one at a time.

PACKAGING
The bird will be wrapped in bubble wrap and packed securely in a posting box.

PROTECTION
I don't leave my bird in the garden during harsh winter weather. I put mine indoors or in the shed once the frost starts and have an unveiling when Spring arrives and the frost has disappeared. I recommend that you do the same!
