I created this mixed media illustration based on the subject and history of 'Corfe Castle' which is in Dorset, England.
This illustration has recently been exhibited in the 'A Castle in England' exhibition (July 2017) which was held at the Clerkenwell Gallery and also the Stour Space in London.
I was inspired by the story of Edward the Martyr who was the King of England, and lived at Corfe Castle until his untimely demise in 1978. One of the myths regarding how he died is a grisly tale as the hands of some of those closest to him, and this is what inspired this illustration.
The A3 Giclee image has been printed on Smooth Fine Art 225 gsm paper, and is framed and ready to mount on a wall.
The frame size measures 43 x 53 cm (16.9 x 20.9 inches).
The framed illustration will be well packaged to ensure a safe transit.
