When I first discovered this little piece of blue sea glass, I knew I wanted make it into a wearable piece of jewellery.
Because of it's organic form I had to create the design around the stone. Luckily I noticed that the stone had a perfect whole running all the way through it, I cleared the sand out, and set to work on deigning the piece.
Whilst I was doing this, the little sea glass bead started to reminded me of a cactus, with it's unique colouration. So I decided to make it into a little contemporary Cactus Brooch, sitting in a pot, with two leaves, and a golden bud.
It was hand made using silver, sea glass, and gold, and is UK hallmarked.
