When I started sketching these hares I was planning on drawing four different ones, but then I realised I had drawn different stages of running so as the book unfolds it looks like one hare caught in the frames of a film. It reminds me of the old zoetropes which created the illusion of movement before film. Is it four hares or just one running across the book? That's up to you.
