These cute and colourful art pieces are made with a combination of textile and paper art, and make a perfect little gift or something different for your own collection.

Each piece is made by layering and winding cotton and silk yarns around card to create a colourful and unique background. I then place cut out paper imagery on top to complete the scene. The textile background is completely made by hand and gives the artwork a unique texture and depth.

Artwork comes mounted and cellophane wrapped, ready for framing or to give as a gift. The piece is ready to fit a 5" square frame as shown in the last photo. The frame is not included.

I have always loved the beautiful colours created as the sun sets and rises. No two days ever seem the same and the depth and combinations of colours are a constant source of inspiration.

As a weaver I have a wide range of beautiful yarns at my disposal so I love to experiment with them by blending different colour yarns to capture such scenes. Combining these handmade creations with cut out imagery has been really fun to experiment with, and I am really pleased with the outcome.
