This is a very pretty Japanese cotton kimono fabric and is new (unused stock) from a bolt.
It is a Komon pattern which are normally used to make kimono for young girls.
Suitable for Hardback or Paperback
SIZE: for small to medium books which measure (when closed):
Width between 5 and 5.5 inch (12.5 - 14 cm)
Height between 7.5 and 8 inch (19 - 20.5 cm)
Thickness between 1 and 2 inch (2.5 - 5 cm)

CLEANING:
Spot clean only.
Take great care of the beads!
Lay flat to dry away from direct heat.
Light press with warm iron if necessary, but use a pressing cloth.
Do NOT allow the iron to come into contact with the gold highlights.
Please do NOT machine wash or machine dry.

This is a Japanese Komon pattern and is of pretty coloured bright flowers and folding fans, highlighted with gold-tone metallic paint.

It is a Komon pattern which are normally used to make kimono for young girls.
Fastens with a vintage glass French button and an elastic loop and is lined with a a pink and while polka dot cotton. There is a beaded ribbon bookmark.
