This bag is made from recycled denim in both deep blue and black. Carefully selected pieces of denim from recycled jeans are pieced together to make a large sheet of fabric which is then turned into a new product - in this case this lovely duffle bag that converts into a back pack. Bonding the patch-worked denim to wadding reinforces and strengthens the fabric.

A larger size than the other duffle/back pack bags I have listed here this bag has an external pocket created by adding in a back panel from a pair of jeans complete with the original pocket.

The bag can be worn on one shoulder or across the back, the photo show it worn both ways.

The oval base measures 32cm by 21cm with the bag body laid flat width being 52cm and height 50cm.

As ever this is a completely unique bag - I couldn't recreate the same combination of denims used even if I tried! These bags can be made in any size and I welcome custom orders.

I upcycle a lot of denim so end up with lots of small pieces not big enough to make out of themselves so I started to create a random, crazy patchwork working with the shapes of denim pieces I have to create new sheets and this bag design lends itself well to being made out of these reconstructed sheets of denim.
