A hand-pressed 2-colour linocut print entitled 'Robin Hood's Bay'.
I'm a big fan of the Yorkshire coast (as you can see by my other landscapes), and this was one of the first places I visited many years ago. The place is full of mystery, and has a long history of smuggling, fishing and other sea-faring escapades. Robin Hood was supposed to have seen off some French pirates here, but this could be a far-fetched tale!
Light blue and warm grey inks on off-white Daler-Rowney 220gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 100, signed and numbered.
The print image measures H15xW10cm.
The paper measures H30xW20cm
