Item details
I'm a functional artist and am really enjoying working with this beautiful Oak wood. The colour and grain detail is just amazing. Like most of my work I connect with the material and the landscape from where it comes from. I initially sit with the material for a while and when it feels right I just let the creative energy flow and see what happens. I do have a idea of what I'm making sometimes but I let the wood guide me with the finished detail.
