I love the sentiment of this personalised quilt. The quilt is a patchwork quilt but various squares tell the story of the little ones life so far. Things that are important to them - here for instance it's her dog, her horse, the fact that the family walk on Wimbledon Common. It's known as a Friendship Quilt and if any quilt will be an heirloom I think this Friendship Quilt will.

All my quilts are made and quilted entirely by me. I work very closely with my clients to make sure their ideas come to life.

As with all my quilts my inspiration for this quilt was my client. This was a bit different though. A God Mother wanted her beautiful God Daughter to remember all the wonderful things about growing up. These were her ideas - I just made them come to life. Xx
