Hi there, thanks for visiting my shop!
Re. delivery: Within UK I send everything direct to your door via CollectPlus as they're excellent at handling fragile goods. They usually take 3-5 days. Sending to the US, I either use ipostparcels, Landmark Global or UPS. Please note that Landmark Global is an economy service which tends to take 10 days. Please contact me directly if you want a quote for express shipping.
I send everything in double walled boxes, in a box within a larger box for extra protection.
A small mug - 3 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide at the top - glazed in a white celadon showing the throwing rings made while making it on the pottery wheel, when I lifted the clay as it spun round and round.
It holds 200mls and is very light to hold, unlike a lot of stoneware.
The semi transparent nature of this glaze means that your drink stays hotter for longer.
There is a thin coating of clear glaze to reinforce the handle where it joins the pot at the bottom. Sometimes the join is more visible, especially when only part glazing the pot's outer surface, as in this case and you can see a small line on the mug at the handle's bottom. The handle is nonetheless fixed well to the pot.
