An original one-off monotype print on BFK RIves printmaking paper.
The framed and glazed print measures 54 x 66 cms.
A monotype print is a one-off, unique piece of artwork. It does not come in an edition, hence the name. This monotype has been made by rolling ink onto a perspex plate, setting the paper on top, and drawing with a pencil and making marks with my fingers and other found objects on the reverse. The pressure from these marks lifts the ink off the plate, and the resulting line has a unique, soft, I like to call "fuzzy,"quality that is difficult to replicate in other printmaking forms. With mono printing, you never really know how the print will turn out in the end, but that is what appeals to me the most about the whole process.
It will be packaged securely, sent insured and will require a signature on delivery.
UK and Europe buyers only.
Thanks for looking and please just send me an email if you have any questions.
PLEASE NOTE: THE SALE OF THIS OR ANY OTHER OF MY ARTWORKS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE COPYRIGHT, WHICH REMAINS THE SOLE PROPERTY OF MYSELF, THE ARTIST. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE IMAGES WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, THANK YOU.
This is the second in a series of two monotype prints of the same title. The first was done in a mix of prussian blue and black etching ink, this one in black.
