This unique denim bag would be an ideal gift for both the young & young at heart. It is sturdy and has been made to handle real life!
Made of a pre-loved pair of jeans, it shows off the now unfolded leg seam at the bottom of the flap, and part of the original side seam remains still intact right at the bottom of the bag.
It opens/closes via velcro, space is provided by boxed corners, and apart from the main compartment there are a further 3 pockets to help organise one`s belongings.
Picture 4 gives an example of inside space, please note that BAG CONTENT IS NOT FOR SALE AND IS FOR ILLUSTRATION PURPOSE ONLY!
The bag`s main lining is made of recycled cotton shirting fabric with a tropical floral print, while plain yellow and stone polycotton pieces (pillowcases in a previous life) are then used for the inside of the inner slip pockets respectively lining the zip pocket at the back.
The bag`s adjustable strap is also upcycled. It is made of leather and its fine details are described best by picture number 5. As the strap comes with its own gold-effect buckles and swivel hooks, it is possible to clip it off when washing the bag of up to 40`C.

There was a leftover piece of denim in my stash which still had some original features on show that I didn`t want to ruin by cutting it up too much, so I decided to bring out its remaining qualities by turning it into a messenger bag, as that meant the least amount of waste, which is always one of my main objectives. Teamed up with some zingy lining and chunky strap/buckles it has become a unique and one-off bag.
