This longer length scarf is fabulously soft and lightweight and is made using natural grey merino wool fibres nuno felted to a silk chiffon base. Large red poppies have been added to both ends on one side prior to felting as decoration, with the reverse side left plain. The nuno felting process causes the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it to create a soft, sheer fabric which drapes beautifully.
The scarf measures approximately 170cm x 41cm (67" x 16.25") and is long enough to wrap around the neck for additional warmth if required.
The scarf is supplied wrapped in floral tissue paper with a label describing the felting process and full washing instructions. An upgrade is available as a separate listing in my shop allowing it to be packaged in a kraft card window presentation box making it an ideal gift.
Hand wash in warm water.
