The peacock is made using sheet silver, an antique Indian jewellery die from my collection, and a hammer, with much relish and lots of noise. It took many rounds of annealling, cleaning the silver and hammering before the peacock had enough detail.The peacock was then sawn out and backed with silver (a hole being made in the backplate so it did not explode during silvering process).
