Apple and Whitebeam Nutcracker 645

Apple and Whitebeam Nutcracker 645
£14.00 1 Available
Love this

Description

Stylish and chunky useful nutcracker turned from delicately figured apple for the bowl, and sturdy whitebeam (a wood once used for making cogs) for the handle with an oak knob with whitebeam button added. The nutcracker measures 135mm long when the handle is fully screwed in, and the bowl is 67mm deep with an outside diameter of 90mm and internal opening of 50mm in diameter. The item has been finished with beeswax and buffed to a soft sheen.

Inspiration

A stylish and functional tool this elegant piece would look equally at home in the kitchen, lounge or dining room. The design has been further enhanced by the decorative button on the handle. The handle screws in to crack the nut against the internal wall of the bowl of the nutcracker, so please note that it should be kept away from small children and their little fingers!
