I have made this desk tidy in good quality ply wood using mitre joints.

The unique design on it is achieved by using a technique called marbling.
The patterns are slightly unpredictable so what is produced is always unique and cannot be replicated.

Hard wearing varnish has been applied to protect the surface finish and soft felt tabs underneath will protect the desk top.

As with my boxes I like to make items that are useful and look attractive. The technique of marbling allows me to decorate this desk tidy with brilliant colours in a unique pattern.
